Job Purpose:

Organize and supervise all non-academic program activities of Blueprint’s signature summer program at designated locations, while providing a fun, safe and personal pre-college experience to all students (see specific program locations below).


Essential Duties:

  • Monitor and participate in student activities; ensure student safety
  • Develop and lead all extracurricular programming and special events, using supplied materials effectively and creatively
  • Effectively serve in a collaborative, team-oriented environment
  • Serve as a caring, compassionate mentor and adult presence to all students at all times, including (but not limited to): Classroom time, planned activities, off-campus activities, student mealtimes, student free time and room checks
  • Engage all students in a way that inspires comfortable adjustment to life on a college campus and away from friends and family
  • Provide general office administrative support and perform a variety of other administrative tasks, including (but not limited to): general office work, supply purchasing, monitor student issues, create hallway and floor decor, contribute to program set-up/breakdown
  • Coordinate field trip logistics and execution
  • Implement all program rules, procedures and safety guidelines

You may be asked to perform specific duties (as assigned by your Program Director), such as:

Office Administration Lead:

  • General office duties, including answering phones, cleaning/ organizing office and assisting Program Director with campus and administrative needs


Minimum Requirements:

  • College degree, currently enrolled in college program or have received some college credit
  • Must be able to travel to and from designated Blueprint Summer Program location.
  • Must have some experience in mentoring youth, tutoring and/or student advising.
  • Must be 21 years of age or older.
